  • We will align our understanding of the Talent / Employee Life Cycle, this will form the foundation of the whole workshop. In other words, this will be the navigating compass to deep dive in the ocean of people analytics

Section I: HR Meets Data Science & Case Study


  • This section introduces the delegates to the role of data in making informed people decisions. We will also debate Data vs. people-lead decisions in transforming HR.
  • We will further deepen our understanding of a business case study on talent acquisition. 
  • We will close this section with a debate on how data can or cannot be used in transforming the HR function or making people decisions.

Session II: Analytical Thinking for HR Professionals


  • This section focuses on helping HR professionals dive deeper into aspects of analytical thinking and how they can balance it with the other aspects of human approaches.
  • We will also develop and test hypotheses to bring out a real-life experience of leveraging analytics.
  • Techniques of asking analytical questions will also be explored that can enable HR to provide direction to both management & technology colleagues.
  • We will close this section by identifying common errors to avoid in the application of analytics.

  • We will identify the various industry classifications and learn more on the types of data HR should track for the purposes of better analytics.
  • There will be an opportunity to have hands-on practice with data.
  • We will finish this section by discussing and learning from a business case study.

Section IV: Working with Data, Practice & Case Study


  • Any amount data is useless in the absence of application. Arguably, this is the most important aspect of any analytics exercise/ function.
  • There would be an opportunity to work with data for people's applications or fit for purpose.
  • We will finish this section with the last case study, which will focus on bringing the concepts to life.

Section V: Preparing an Action Plan for your People Analytics Function


  • We will share some practical steps to get you started by sharing best practices. However, we will give you a space to help you develop a personal/ department action plan. 
  • People don’t think in words but think in pictures, we will learn how to tell a story with data.
  • We will also explore what it takes to build a team to manage your people analytics needs.
  • Finally, we will conclude the workshop with tips, inspiration, and takeaways from all the delegates.
